100 MILE HOUSE B.C. — A pickup truck and numerous tools were stolen from a business compound near Lone Butte.
100 Mile House RCMP responded to the 5400-block of Highway 24 Monday (May 9) morning for a reported break-in and theft of a motor vehicle. Police believe two vehicles were involved, one of which was being used to drive through the large gate at the front of the property. Police say the business was entered by unknown suspects after the gates were sheared off the posts.
A 2017 F-350 dually crew cab Ford truck with B.C. licence plate LN5239 was stolen. The truck is described to have a large, customized aluminum headache rack with a large, hinged pilot sign normally folded down into the back, along with vinyl decals affixed to the side. Two red tidy tanks were also taken, along with chainsaws and other small handheld tools.
