You could go blasting through your flower beds with a string trimmer or your mower, but that’s a good way to make a mistake and lose some flowers. Hart has a better way to tend to your gardening with precision. The Hart 20V Shear and Shrubber gives you the sort of trimming finesse that will keep your shrubs and flower beds intact and looking their best.

The main selling points of the Hart 20V Shear and Shrubber revolves around its precision and its ease of use. As far as precision goes, the shear provides a slower, more methodical approach to trimming the grass close to your flower beds while still offering a more convenient alternative to hacking at your lawn with some scissors or a pair of clippers.

The trimmer attachment provides an 8″ shrubbing blade that lets you get up close and personal with your bushes and hedges. This gives you the opportunity to manicure and shape your shrubbery without having to sweep around with a bigger, more cumbersome blade. It has a 5/16″ cutting capacity.

Switching between the two attachments is simple. The Hart 20V Shear and Shrubber offers tool-less attachment changes. Simply unscrew the nut and replace the attachment, lining up the hole in the attachment with the post on the trimmer base. The whole transition feels pretty idiot-proof.

The Hart 20V Grass Shear, even with the larger trimmer attachment, maintains a compact and lightweight profile that likely won’t fatigue you, even after extended use. Even with its bigger attachment, the tool weighs 3 lbs. 5 oz. with the battery attached. And, with the kitted 2.0Ah battery, Hart tells us you’ll get up to an hour of clip time.

Like the rest of the Hart 20V lineup, the Cordless Grass Shear and Shrubber Kit is sold exclusively at Walmart. It comes with both the 3″ shear and 8″ shrubbing blade attachments, along with a 2.0Ah battery and charger. The whole setup runs just $93. It also comes with Hart’s 3-year warranty.
